Support the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross Biomedical Services department! This volunteer opportunity invites enthusiastic individuals to contribute by assisting in the processing of blood products. As a volunteer at our Great Falls manufacturing site, you can play a crucial role in storing and maintaining records associated with blood products received from generous donors. Responsibilities: Process blood products following established procedures after receipt from donors, including scanning in units, segmenting units, and unloading plasma from blast/enter product racker. Scan and safely store blood products in accordance with organizational guidelines. Maintain accurate manual and computer records related to production and testing. Requirements: Willingness to volunteer in-person at our Great Falls manufacturing facility. Time commitment: We are looking for volunteers who can commit to one day per week (Tuesday - Saturday).
