Purpose Statement:

This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Humanitarian Services Business Systems Integration (BSI) department. The Digital Web Content Manager Volunteer assists with managing our customer-facing web content. This position provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and other senior staff. This is a 100% virtual opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage content on the OneSource intranet site with national content managers and BSI team members.
• Organize website structure, taxonomy, and tagging.
• Optimize pages and improve user experience.
• Monitor and measure content performance.
• Create valuable and engaging website content, including articles and page layouts.
• Provide summaries, insights, and suggestions to achieve goals.
• Perform routine maintenance on all content in the content management system.
• Use the OneSource content management platform (InteractGo).
• Perform other web support duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
• Experience managing content management systems and using editorial style guides for consistency on a corporate website.
• Understanding of how digital channels work.
• Proven ability to organize and communicate effectively while managing large volumes of content and projects.
• Ability to analyze and report on campaign results, using data to tell a story.
• Strong relationship-building skills with team members and clients.
• Comfortable working with strategy, creative elements, numbers, and people.

• Degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing.
• Experience writing SEO-optimized articles and product descriptions.
• Ability to use data to tell a compelling story for a wide audience, including designers, marketers, and executives.
