Events Committee Member Position for Charleston MINI Club (CMC)
The CMC Events Committee Members play crucial supporting roles in the planning, execution, and promotion of club events. Working under the supervision of the Events Coordinator, these volunteers help ensure the success of various club activities while fostering community engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Support and Management
- Assist the Events Coordinator in scheduling, promoting, and managing approved events
- Help organize a variety of activities, including:
- Social gatherings
- Fundraising events
- Track days
- MINI runs and rallies
- Other events as directed by the Board of Directors
Communication and Promotion
- Maintain and update the CMC calendar to keep members informed of upcoming events
- Oversee social media activities to engage members and promote club events
- Update the organization's webpage with current event information and recaps
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with the Events Coordinator and other board members
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution
- Assist in gathering feedback from members to improve future events
Administrative Support
- Help with event-related paperwork and documentation
- Assist in budget tracking for events when required
- Contribute to post-event reports and analyses
The ideal Events Committee Member candidate should possess:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in social media management and basic web updating
- Enthusiasm for the MINI community and club activities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing event needs and schedules
