Opportunity Title: Crocheting Workshop
Opportunity Description: Volunteer will be teaching clients how to crochet-hats, scarves, etc. for a support group for our immigrant clients that we offer
Department/Individuals Assisting: Social Services
Responsible to: Connor Paul, Volunteer Manager & Monica Maldonado, Supervising Case Manager

Responsibilities:
●Teach clients how to crochet
●Create welcoming environment with clients
Opportunity Qualifications:
● Required:
○Knowledge of crocheting
● Preferred:
○Cross cultural communication, interpersonal skills, Spanish
Commitment: We are looking to offer this group on Wednesday, Dec 18th sometime around midday. Group will last between 1 - 2 hours. Back up date as the 10th if you are a good crocheter with Spanish fluency but cannot join on the 18th

Description
Ayuda is the only nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia that offers a full range of immigration and family law assistance, case management, therapy, and language support for low-income immigrants from anywhere in the world.
