Are you interested in volunteering at a spectacular site?
Cape Perpetua Visitor Center is looking for a gift shop volunteer. This position is intended to help with inventory management, restocking when on duty and helping prepare items to go on the store floor. Availability for the volunteer schedule is flexible and various throughout the year due to ordering. We anticipate this position to be 2-3 times a month, year-round.
Cape Perpetua gift shop is run by a non-profit organization partner, Discover Your Northwest.
This volunteer position will be working with our gift shop manager. Below are the main tasks associated with this volunteer position, though task may vary depending on needs.
-End of year inventory
-Tagging new inventory
-Restocking gift shop during volunteer hours
-Reviewing current stock for reordering status
Cape Perpetua volunteers are eligible for mileage reimbursements (.14 per mile) for travel to and from the Visitor Center for scheduled work shifts. Volunteers are expected to wear neutral color clothing, close toe shoes and will need to pass a background check.
