Position Title: Email Marketing Manager (Volunteer)

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate, creative, and results-driven Email Marketing Manager to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Board Member to develop and implement email marketing strategies aimed at increasing engagement, raising awareness, and promoting our mission. The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for crafting compelling email campaigns, building subscriber lists, and tracking performance metrics to ensure the success of outreach efforts, all while supporting our overall marketing and communication goals.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in email marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or community-focused organization.
• Strong skills in content creation for email campaigns, including writing, design, and list segmentation.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and analytics tools to track campaign performance.
• A strategic mindset to develop targeted campaigns that align with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging messages that resonate with a diverse audience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple email campaigns, adhering to deadlines.
• A commitment to our mission and the ability to convey our values through email marketing.

The Email Marketing Manager will receive direction from the Marketing and Communications Board Member, who will provide strategic guidance to ensure alignment with broader communication goals.

Nice to have:

• Experience with A/B testing and email automation.
• Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, or content marketing.
• A background in communications, public relations, or brand development to enhance email outreach.
