As a volunteer Visual Storyteller, you'll play a crucial role in showcasing the incredible work of the Red Cross through captivating photos and videos. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with our communications leadership to find innovative ways to visually narrate the Red Cross story.
  • Capture compelling photos and videos at events, trainings, and during both disaster and non-disaster periods, adhering to Red Cross brand standards.
  • Share your creations online, including social media platforms, to engage and inspire our community.
  • Work alongside our social media team to amplify the reach of your content and spread our message far and wide.
  • Treat everyone you encounter with the utmost respect and professionalism, ensuring all necessary permissions are obtained for your visuals.

Time Commitment: Typically less than10 hours per month, with flexibility based on projects and local disaster responses. During disasters, this commitment may increase to 4-8 hours per day.
