About Us:
We are a small but passionate organization committed to making a meaningful impact in our community. To further our mission, we're seeking a creative and resourceful Donation Coordinator & Campaign Strategist who can help us design and execute donation campaigns, as well as actively solicit contributions to support our work. This role requires just 1-2 hours per week, offering a great opportunity for someone who wants to give back while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Creation & Strategy: Develop creative and effective donation campaigns (online and offline) that engage potential donors and align with our mission.
- Solicitation & Outreach: Reach out to individuals, organizations, and businesses to solicit donations. This could be through emails, social media posts, or personal outreach.
- Donation Tracking & Acknowledgment: Track and log donations, ensuring timely thank-you notes or emails are sent to each donor.
- Social Media Engagement (optional): Assist in crafting engaging posts, emails, and content for social media platforms to promote donation campaigns and encourage support.
- Campaign Analysis: Monitor the effectiveness of donation campaigns, offering suggestions and improvements for future efforts.
- Donor Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with donors, keeping them informed about how their contributions are making a difference.
What We’re Looking For:
- Creative Mindset: Ability to brainstorm and develop fresh ideas for fundraising campaigns that engage and inspire donors.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Comfort in reaching out to potential donors through various channels (email, social media, phone).
- Organized: Strong attention to detail for tracking donations, scheduling outreach, and following up with supporters.
- Passionate About Giving: A genuine interest in making a positive impact in the community and an understanding of how fundraising supports our mission.
- Flexible & Efficient: Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within the 1-2 hour weekly commitment.
