LIGHT Movement is looking for an individual to assist in spreading the word about LIGHT programs including classes, retreats, workshops, and trainings via social media. This volunteer will work with a group of other marketing volunteers.
LIGHT is located in Denver, Colorado, but this opportunity is virtual. The number of hours and schedule are flexible.
LIGHT ccurrently has accounts with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, but we are looking to become more active on those platforms and expand beyond them.
Possible duties of this volunteer position include:
- Updating all social media platforms.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to further marketing campaigns.
- Creating new social media pipelines.
- Developing a plan for a more strategic use of social media.
This individual will not supervise others. A background check may be required, depending on the specific tasks assigned.

LIGHT Movement was created to remind those experiencing grief that they are not alone.
The organization has four goals:
- Remind people they are not alone in their grief
- Teach somatic-based tools to support people in growing/integrating/finding purpose from grief
- Provide resources and partner with others to support people in their grief.
- Stand in solidarity for all people experiencing all types of grief.
LIGHT offers the following programs:
- Somatic healing classes including yoga, writing, and art
- Workshops and trainings for professionals and individuals
- Grief and burnout retreats
- Events
- Somatic health education
- Middle grade educational program (beginning Fall 2025)
