Use your passion for helping young people to make a difference in the world!
As an ASSE International mentor (Area Representative), you'll be that all important point person for exchange students placed in your area during their year abroad in the U.S.


Our exchange students are top-notch kids who come from a variety of countries and are eager to experience U.S. culture with you and their host families.
Mentor, counselor, advocate, guide and friend are just a few roles you'll play as you oversee ASSE exchange students and help them get the most out of their exchange year.
In addition there will be opportunities for you to help high school students in your own community become ASSE exchange students abroad.


-Goal oriented, dependable, team player
-Flexible, make your own schedule
-Screen potential host families
-Liaison to host families and high schools
-Internet access and reliable transportation required
-Training and support provided
-Volunteer stipend
