It's a Military Life, a nonprofit supporting military families, is seeking a Vice President of the Board to help guide our mission and growth. This is a volunteer position offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the President on strategic planning and organizational goals
-Provide guidance to the board and staff for effective governance
-Engage with donors, military organizations, and community partners
-Support fundraising efforts and represent the organization at events
-Attend board meetings and participate in committees
Position Requirements:
-Preference for veterans or military spouses with nonprofit or leadership experience
-Ability to commit 5-10 hours/week for at least 12 months
-Strong communication and collaboration skills
-Knowledge of nonprofit governance
