The Tutor Volunteer Recruiter will manage the recruitment of volunteer tutors for The Halifax Helpers. This includes reaching out to potential candidates, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

Requirements:

• Experience with volunteer recruitment or related fields (optional)
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with team members

Basic Responsibilities:

• Check email and respond to inquiries from prospective volunteers.
• Plan and schedule interviews with potential tutors.
• Maintain an organized database of volunteer applications.
• Communicate with accepted volunteers to guide them through the onboarding process.
• Collaborate with team members on recruitment strategies.

Time Commitment:

• 2-3 hours per week: This includes answering emails, scheduling and conducting interviews, and maintaining records.
