About Us:
Carmel's Depression & Anxiety Wellness Foundation (CDAWF) is dedicated to providing resources, education, and community support for individuals dealing with depression and anxiety. Our mission is to reduce stigma, increase mental health awareness, and provide accessible resources to our community. As we grow, we seek passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of our organization.
Board Member Responsibilities:
As a board member, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding CDAWF’s mission, strategy, and growth. Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Help set the direction and priorities for the organization’s programs and initiatives.
- Fundraising & Development: Support and participate in fundraising efforts to ensure the sustainability of our programs.
- Financial Oversight: Review and approve annual budgets, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.
- Advocacy & Outreach: Act as an ambassador for CDAWF, helping to build partnerships and increase community awareness.
- Board Meetings: Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person) and actively contribute to discussions and decision-making.
Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Nonprofit management or governance
- Mental health advocacy or healthcare
- Fundraising and development
- Financial management or accounting
- Marketing, public relations, or communications
- Community outreach and partnerships
