The Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of
Schools is looking for versatile volunteers to assist across multiple departments including
communications, finance, and operations. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting
various projects and teams.


Responsibilities may include:

  • Communication Management: Help coordinate communications between student artists
    for our art competition and faculty affiliates. Format weekly communications, send event
    invitations, and track attendance.
  • Internal Communications: Design and send event invites, manage RSVPs, and keep
    internal communication channels organized.
  • Finance Assistance: Support our finance team with administrative tasks and general
    financial tracking.
  • Facilities/Operations Support: Assist in space management, including setting up shared
    workspaces, moving offices, and ensuring a smooth workspace experience.
  • Administrative Support for Voices in Urban Education (VUE): Assist in managing editorial board applications, organizing submissions, and facilitating follow-ups.
