Role: Fundraising Specialist (Volunteer, Pro Bono)
Location: Remote

About the Role:
As our Fundraising Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to attract donations, grants, and sponsorships for our organization. You’ll work closely with our team to create impactful campaigns, engage donors, and build partnerships that support our rescue, veterinary care, and rehoming efforts for cats in need.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies tailored to our mission and goals.
• Identify and approach potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
• Create engaging content and campaigns to connect with our donor base and attract new supporters.
• Build and nurture relationships with donors to encourage ongoing support.
• Track fundraising progress, report on results, and adjust strategies for maximum impact.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fundraising, ideally within the nonprofit or animal welfare sector.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Creativity in developing campaigns and messaging that resonates with donors.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
• Passion for animal welfare and alignment with cátodo’s mission.
