Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for animal welfare? Do you have the skills to coordinate multiple projects and inspire a team of dedicated volunteers? Asociación cátodo para la Protección y el Bienestar de los Gatos is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and guide our volunteer-led initiatives, including social media, video production, crowdfunding, community outreach, and more.
Role: Project Manager (Volunteer, Pro Bono)

About the Role:
As our Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in organizing, coordinating, and overseeing all major projects within our organization. Working closely with a team of talented volunteers, you’ll ensure that each project-such as Social Media Management, YouTube content, Crowdfunding, and Community Engagement-runs smoothly, stays aligned with our mission, and achieves impactful results. Your leadership will be essential in keeping our team motivated, organized, and effective as we work to protect and care for abandoned and stray cats.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring that each aligns with our mission and timelines.
- Provide support and guidance to volunteer team leads in areas such as social media, video production, crowdfunding, and community outreach.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Regularly communicate with team leads and volunteers to maintain alignment and foster collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for each project, including goals, timelines, and success metrics.
- Coordinate regular check-ins and updates to ensure transparency, accountability, and smooth teamwork.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, ideally with experience in nonprofit or volunteer settings.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse remote team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks and projects.
- Passion for animal welfare and alignment with cátodo’s mission.
