Are you a natural organizer with experience in recruiting and managing volunteers? Do you want to make a difference by helping us build a dedicated team of remote volunteers to support our rescue work? Asociación cátodo para la Protección y el Bienestar de los Gatos is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to lead our volunteer recruitment and management efforts.

Role: Remote Volunteers Coordinator (Volunteer, Pro Bono)

About the Role:
As our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in recruiting, organizing, and supporting remote volunteers for a variety of critical roles, including Social Media Managers, Video Content Creators, Cause Ambassadors, Crowdfunding Specialists, and more. You’ll help us build a community of skilled, motivated individuals who share our commitment to animal welfare and want to contribute to our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a recruitment plan to attract skilled volunteers for various roles, such as social media, video production, and community engagement.
• Manage the onboarding process, including interviews, orientation, and role assignments.
• Provide ongoing support to volunteers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive volunteer culture that encourages engagement and retention.
• Track volunteer contributions and recognize their efforts to keep them motivated and appreciated.
• Collaborate with team leads to ensure each area has the necessary volunteer support and talent.

Requirements:

• Experience in volunteer coordination, recruitment, or team management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with remote work tools and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Passion for animal welfare and alignment with cátodo’s mission.
