Are you experienced in creating and managing successful crowdfunding campaigns? Do you want to use your skills to make a real difference in animal welfare? Asociación cátodo para la Protección y el Bienestar de los Gatos is looking for a crowdfunding expert to help us fundraise for our rescue initiatives, veterinary care, and to build safe spaces for abandoned and stray cats.
Role: Crowdfunding Specialist (Volunteer, Pro Bono)

About the Role:
As our Crowdfunding Specialist, you’ll be responsible for designing, launching, and managing crowdfunding campaigns on platforms like GoFundMe, Kickstarter, and similar sites. Your role will be to develop compelling stories, set realistic fundraising goals, engage potential donors, and leverage our community’s support to maximize donations. Your efforts will directly support our rescue work and allow us to expand our services for animals in need.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage crowdfunding campaigns from start to finish, including campaign design, storytelling, and goal-setting.
- Identify key messages that resonate with potential donors and draft engaging, inspiring content.
- Engage with donors, provide campaign updates, and build a community of supporters.
- Track campaign performance, optimize strategies, and report on progress.
- Explore creative perks or incentives to encourage donor engagement and increase campaign visibility.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in creating and managing successful crowdfunding campaigns on platforms like GoFundMe, Kickstarter, or others.
- Strong storytelling skills with an ability to connect with audiences emotionally.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies to promote crowdfunding campaigns.
- Passion for animal welfare and alignment with cátodo’s mission.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with our team remotely.
