Are you passionate about animal welfare and skilled in social media? Asociación cátodo para la Protección y el Bienestar de los Gatos is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help amplify our mission online and engage our community of supporters!

Role: Social Media Manager (Volunteer, Pro Bono)
Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and potentially TikTok

About the Role:
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating, scheduling, and sharing engaging content that highlights our work in rescuing and protecting abandoned and stray cats. You'll play a vital role in increasing our online visibility, attracting supporters, and spreading awareness about animal welfare. Additionally, we’d love for you to help us establish a presence on TikTok to reach an even wider audience!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and post regular updates on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create and implement a content strategy that aligns with our mission and upcoming events.
• Explore and launch a TikTok presence for cátodo, creating short, impactful videos.
• Track and report on engagement metrics to understand and enhance our reach.

Requirements:

• Experience managing social media platforms (professional or personal).
• Creativity and a good eye for visuals and storytelling.
• Passion for animal welfare and commitment to our mission.
• Knowledge of basic analytics to monitor engagement (a plus, but not required).
