ORGANIZATION: Well Care Hospice

We have several opportunities in Advance and Surrouding towns for patient's who need companionship. You would go to their home (drive time to and from is counted), visit with them, listen to them talk about their life and experiences, engage them with open ended questions such as what was your favorite vacation, how many children do you have, etc. Some like to be read to or listen to music. etc. Some times people just need something to look forward to when they can no longer leave home.

Must be at least 18
Orientation or Training
2 hours per week
Complete our 12 hr training, TB screening 1 time, proof of NC driver's license and auto insurance. If under 18 a parent or guardian will need to also complete training and attend visits. This is a good opportunity for families to help together.
