Are you looking for a hands-on way to give back to your community? Pickens County Habitat for Humanity (PCHFH) is seeking dedicated volunteers to help build homes for families in need. Whether you want to volunteer once or as often as you’d like, we welcome you to join us on our construction sites and be part of something meaningful.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in hands-on construction tasks such as framing, painting, and installing fixtures.
- Work alongside our skilled construction team and fellow volunteers to help build safe, affordable homes.
- Choose your schedule! Shifts are available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, allowing flexibility based on your availability.
Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone aged 18 and over is welcome-no prior construction experience is needed. Volunteers 14 and older can participate when no power tools are in use. Parent supervision required.
This opportunity is also perfect for those completing community service hours. Whether you’re looking to learn new skills, gain experience, or simply want to give back, you’ll find a place on our team.
Why Volunteer with PCHFH?
As a volunteer, you’ll make a direct, lasting impact on the lives of local families, helping to build not only homes but also a stronger community. By giving your time and effort, you’ll work with a supportive team, learn new skills, and enjoy the satisfaction that comes with transforming lives through service.
