Pickens County Habitat for Humanity (PCHFH) is looking for passionate and creative individuals to join our Events Subcommittee. As part of this dynamic team, you'll help plan and execute events that raise awareness and funds to support our mission of building affordable homes for families in need.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with other voluneers and staff to plan and organize fundraising events, community outreach, and special projects.
- Bring fresh ideas to create engaging events that foster community involvement and increase our visibility.
- Help with logistics, marketing, and outreach to ensure successful, well-attended events.
- Assist in developing partnerships with local businesses and organizations to support our events.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for our mission of creating safe, affordable housing for all.
- Experience in event planning, marketing, or fundraising is a plus but not required-enthusiasm and commitment matter most!
- Strong organizational skills, creativity, and a collaborative spirit.
- Willingness to dedicate a few hours a month to planning and attending events.

Description
Since 1981, Pickens County Habitat for Humanity has built or renovated more than 100 safe, decent, and affordable homes for more than 300 individuals in need.
As the second oldest affiliate in South Carolina and 12th in the nation, PCHFH has a longstanding history of partnering with youth organizations, faith-based groups, and thousands of volunteers to build sturdy homes and homeownership opportunities.
