Please visit the new page to apply.
We are currently looking to fill a position for one individual at the Visitor Center for 2025.
The Red Canyon Visitor Center, located in northeastern Utah on the Ashley National Forest, boasts over 20,000 visitors per year. Operating seasonally from Memorial to Labor Day, the Visitor Center acts as a point of contact for visitors to the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Volunteers are responsible for informing the public about scenic points of interest, as well as providing all of the information a visitor may need to more thoroughly enjoy the FGNRA. We do this by way of the many maps and brochures available, and with the movies shown in our theater. If volunteers are interested, there is also the option to put on programs outside the Visitor Center on subjects they may be passionate about, whether it be botany, birding, geology, or other related subjects.
