ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics North Carolina

SONC Logo

We are looking for an experienced Special Olympics volunteer who can support Special Olympics NC athletes who are trained to speak about SONC's health programming at SONC Events. You would be fully trained on Special Olympics NC Health & Wellness program messaging so you can support the athletes at events throughout the State. Depending on your location, you can assist with events in nearby counties.

The Special Olympics NC Health & Wellness program offers local communities free health evaluation services, performing a vital function for our communities. You would work with SONC staff to train on Health program messaging and learn how to work with our Special Olympic athletes to spread the word about community programs.

Time commitment can conform to your schedule but would require training hours and attendance at some local events.
