Birthday Balloon Delivery Voluneer - This volunteer role ensures that hospice patients receive a birthday balloon/gift on their birthday. Every birthday counts for a hospice patient, and our birthday balloon delivery volunteer ensures that this day is not only remembered but celebrated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Volunteer participates in Hospice orientation, training and a background check
- Volunteer receives monthly emails with patients birthdate, name and address
- Volunteer receives a monthly gift card to purchase balloons and/or gifts
- Volunter insures a timely delivery of birthday balloon/gift to patient
- Volunteer tracks time in a tracking App
Skills and Qualifications
- Caring, friendly and compassionate toward the elderly
- Ability to receive emails and record volunteer times
- Ability to drive to patient's homes
- Ability to keep patient information confidential
Time Commitment
- Hours will vary from 1-4 hours per MONTH depending on birthdays per month
- Days will vary depending on date of birthdays, but times are flexable
