The Healthcare Blogger will support Golden Experiences by writing insightful, informative, and engaging blog posts related to health and wellness topics, aligning with the organization’s mission to serve underprivileged seniors, mothers, and children. This role offers a chance to share health-related knowledge, increase community awareness, and support Golden Experiences' digital presence through regular content contributions.

• Content Creation:

  • Research and write blog posts on relevant health and wellness topics, including preventative care, mental health, nutrition, exercise, and healthcare access for vulnerable populations.
  • Align posts with Golden Experiences’ initiatives, programs, and the needs of the communities it serves.
  • Ensure content is easy to understand, relatable, and provides value to the target audience.

• Collaboration:

  • Work with the marketing team to align blog topics with ongoing campaigns, events, and social media themes like "Golden Nuggets" (health-related information).
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, volunteers, or guest contributors to include expert insights and tips in blog content.

• SEO Optimization & Engagement:

  • Optimize blog posts with relevant keywords to increase visibility and drive traffic to the Golden Experiences website.
  • Use engaging titles, subheadings, and multimedia (e.g., infographics, images) to enhance the readability and impact of the blog.

• Editorial Calendar Management:

  • Maintain a consistent blogging schedule, with posts ideally published once or twice a month, coordinating with the marketing team’s content calendar.
  • Pitch new ideas for topics and series that will engage the target audience and highlight Golden Experiences’ impact in the healthcare space.

• Advocacy & Awareness:

  • Promote healthcare education and advocacy by creating blog content that raises awareness about challenges faced by the underserved populations, including seniors, mothers, and children.
  • Support the organization's goal of fostering a community-centered approach to health and wellness.
