The Volunteer Marketing/Branding Specialist for Golden Experiences will play a key role in enhancing the organization’s brand presence, creating marketing strategies, and increasing awareness of the nonprofit’s mission. This individual will collaborate with the marketing team and volunteers to develop and implement effective communication campaigns to reach potential donors, partners, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Development:

    • Ensure consistent use of Golden Experiences' branding across all platforms and materials.
    • Review and refine brand identity elements such as logos, slogans, and visual design.
  • Content Creation & Management:

    • Create engaging and high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, social media content, and website updates.
    • Develop compelling storytelling approaches to highlight Golden Experiences' impact.
  • Social Media & Digital Strategy:

    • Implement a weekly social media content calendar, incorporating established themes like "Golden Quotes," "Golden Events Updates," and "Kind Words."
    • Manage and grow Golden Experiences’ presence on social media platforms, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
  • Campaign Development:

    • Design and execute marketing campaigns for events like the annual gala, silent auction, and Volunteer Appreciation Day.
    • Collaborate with the fundraising team to promote events and initiatives to secure corporate partnerships and increase donor engagement.
  • Public Relations:

    • Draft press releases, blogs, and articles to share organizational news, milestones, and success stories.
    • Foster relationships with media outlets to increase exposure for Golden Experiences.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the Strategic Engagement Director to enhance visibility and attract new supporters.
    • Participate in periodic marketing meetings, offering creative input and strategic ideas to improve outreach efforts.
