About Us: The Center for Sustainable Journeys in Engineering and Innovation is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing sustainability through engineering and innovative projects. We work to implement eco-friendly initiatives, provide education, and empower communities. As a small, growing organization, we rely on volunteers to help manage key operations and expand our reach. Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Administrator to help set up and, to a lesser extent, manage our Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). This role will be critical in supporting our efforts to streamline CRM, donation management, volunteer tracking, and other key nonprofit functions. You will be instrumental in helping us harness the power of Salesforce to engage with donors, manage our community outreach, and drive our mission forward. Responsibilities: * Set up Salesforce NPSP for CRM, donation management, and volunteer tracking. * Customize and optimize Salesforce to fit the specific needs of a small nonprofit. * Automate workflows, create reports, and dashboards for donation tracking and outreach. * Manage ongoing updates and configurations within Salesforce as needed. * Provide training and support to staff on using Salesforce efficiently. * Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the system. * Offer occasional ongoing support for troubleshooting or system enhancements. Qualifications: * Experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably with Salesforce NPSP. * Familiarity with nonprofit operations and the typical use cases for CRM, donor management, and volunteer tracking. * Strong skills in creating reports, managing data, and customizing Salesforce features. * Knowledge of Salesforce automation tools like Flows, Process Builder, and Reports/Dashboards. * Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving challenges. * Excellent communication skills for working with a small team. Why Volunteer With Us? * Make a direct impact on a growing nonprofit organization. * Utilize your Salesforce skills to support meaningful sustainability and innovation projects. * Gain experience working with a nonprofit, enhancing your resume and expanding your network. * Be part of a team committed to creating positive change through engineering and sustainability. Time Commitment: Flexible; ideally 5-10 hours per week. How to Apply: If you’re passionate about making a difference and have experience in Salesforce administration, we’d love to hear from you! Limitations:
Due to current background screening and security protocols, we can only accept volunteer applicants from North America, South America, and the European Union. We are working to expand these capabilities and appreciate your understanding.
