Are you ready to make a difference while enjoying the rewarding experience of connecting with people? As a Canteen Host, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our blood donors. If you love socializing, serving snacks and refreshments (yes, free cookies!), and ensuring everyone feels cared for, this position is perfect for you!
What Canteen Hosts Do:
As a Canteen Host, you’ll greet donors with a warm smile and answer any questions they may have. You’ll serve refreshments, monitor donors for any signs or symptoms of an adverse reaction, and provide a friendly atmosphere that encourages donors to relax and enjoy their time with us. Your attentiveness will help ensure a positive experience for all!
What We’re Looking For: We need enthusiastic volunteers who are outgoing, attentive, and passionate about caring for others. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support our mission while creating a positive experience for donors.
Time Commitment:
- Canteen Hosts are asked to commit to one 4-hour shift every week
- Oklahoma City (OKC) Volunteers

- Edmond, Norman, Midwest City, Del City, Moore, Mustang, Yukon, Arcadia, Bethany, El Reno, Guthrie, Jones, Luther, Spencer, Piedmont
