Looking to boost your health while helping others? Want to make new friends while making a real impact? Join the award-winning RSVP Bone Builders program-a fun, social, and engaging way to improve your health and give back to your community!
This osteoporosis exercise and education program is all about getting stronger while enjoying the company of others. You must be 55 years or older to join the fun!
Become a Volunteer Instructor!
Lead twice-weekly classes (about an hour each) using light weights and simple exercises that can be done sitting or standing next to a chair. You’ll co-teach with a partner, giving you the flexibility to take vacations or personal days when needed.
- Small Classes: Enjoy a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere with seniors, 55 and older.
- Health Benefits: Classes are designed to improve muscle strength, balance, and bone density-all while having a blast!
- Free Training: Visit two of the 22 existing classes in west Ventura County, complete a 6-hour training class (held quarterly), and observe three more classes. You'll also attend quarterly in-service trainings to stay up-to-date.
Bonus: Bilingual Instructors Needed!

RSVP helps answer unmet community needs by matching mature volunteers (ages 55+) with non-profit and public agencies. All work is voluntary and based on the individual's desire to serve.
