Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance

It's Tai Chi Time! Improve Balance, Make Friends, and Have Fun!

Looking for a fun way to stay active, meet new people, and make a real difference in the lives of seniors? Look no further! Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance (TCMBB) is here, brought to you by RSVP, the same team that runs the popular Bone Builders classes!

The eight forms used in TCMBB are scientifically proven to boost balance and strength, helping seniors stay healthy and active. And guess what? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to become Tai Chi instructors! No experience needed-just a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn.

What’s In It For You?

  • Free Training: Visit one of our classes (Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, or online), complete 15 hours of training with our master trainers, and practice the moves to become certified.
  • No Experience Required: We’ll teach you everything you need to know!
  • Make a Real Impact: Help seniors not only stay fit but also build friendships and fight isolation, especially after the challenges of COVID-19.
  • Flexible Schedule: Co-teach with a partner for twice-weekly 90-minute classes, and enjoy flexibility for personal time.

You must be 55 or older to qualify for the RSVP program, and we ask for a commitment to lead at least two 12-week sessions once certified. Classes are small, relaxed, and a lot of fun!

Ready to Join the Fun?
Call 805-385-8019 for more information and take the first step toward becoming a Tai Chi instructor today!

Let’s make a difference, together!
