ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Club of Vista

Be Great

Do you want to put your skills and wisdom to work as a member of our Board helping underserved kids in North County? The Boys & Girls Club of Vista is looking for adept and humble leaders to join our Board during a significant period of program growth. Volunteers are the glue to our community- Our Club had over 350 volunteers last year and it truly helped us make an impact on the kids we serve.

The Boys & Girls Club of Vista Board of Directors is an unpaid position comprised of caring people who volunteer their time to ensure the Club provides the best programs and resources available to many of the underserved families we serve.

The Board meets monthly on the third Thursday at 8:30 a.m. (in-person strongly encouraged). Directors are asked to be actively engaged and are required to attend 8 of 10 Board meetings each year, actively participate on at least one committee, meet annual give/get targets (currently at a minimum of $2,800 or more per year which includes the Club's March gala. We are very interested in finding a C level executive looking to volunteer from the Vista Business Park area.

Our mission is to empower every club member, through safe and impactful experiences to: * Graduate high school with a plan for college or a career * Contribute to their community * Live a healthy life
