Join Bristol Hospice in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our veteran patients, as we are an active participant in the We Honor Veterans program. We are seeking compassionate individuals who understand the unique experiences of our veteran community.

As a veteran volunteer, you will provide companionship and emotional support for veteran patients and their families. Veteran volunteers will assist with activities that honor our veterans, including special events like pinning ceremonies and other veteran-related activities.

We require all volunteers to go through a recruitment process that includes screening, interviews, background checks, reference verfications, and TB testing. All of our volunteers will receive comprehensive online training and orientation to prepare you for your role as a volunteer.

If you are ready to honor and support our veteran patients, we encourage you to apply today and help Bristol Hospice in providing exceptional and quality care they deserve! For any other questions, please contact Mackensie Moore, Volunteer Coordinator at 214-221-9216 or email at mackensie.moore@bristolhospice.com.

About Bristol Hospice Dallas

Location:

16901 N Dallas Parkway, Suite 114, Addison, TX 75001, US

Mission Statement

Bristol Hospice Dallas is graciously committed to our mission that all patients and families entrusted to our care will be treated with the highest level of compassion, respect, and quality of care.

Description

Bristol Hospice Dallas provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to terminal illness.

Volunteers are an important part of the hospice model. Volunteers provide special compassionate presence and support to our patients and family in ways that only a volunteer can. When a volunteer visits a patient, they are visiting the patient because they want to be there. It's not a job or an obligation. That is a powerful action for our patients and families!
