Help your neighbors prepare for their GED and reach their educational goals! Volunteer as a pre-GED math tutor/co-teacher with the Open Door Learning Center - Minneapolis at least one day per week 10am-1pm on Tuesdays and / or Thursdays.
Volunteers help learners develop skills and confidence in math or reading. You'll gain teaching experience while making a difference in the life of an adult learner. Volunteers are provided with a curriculum to follow and work with learners 1:1 or in small groups. Consistent attendance at a weekly shift from 10am to 1pm is required.
Our students are highly motivated and grateful for your help. Join us in making a difference in the community!
