Vigil Volunteer for Capital City Hospice

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Capital City Hospice

Capital City Hospice seeks volunteers to sit with patients in their last hours. Our Vigil Volunteers provide support for family and caregivers by being present with their loved one at the end of life. Capital City's Continuous Care program, sitting with patients in the final hours, is complemented by the Vigil Volunteers who also comfort the patient by their time at bedside.

Time with patients is determined by your schedule. Any time you can share adds to the value of the care given by the hospice team.

Orientation, background check, TB & drug screening, and fingerprinting required (at Capital City's expense). Orientations are held monthly (day and evening sessions available).\

For more information or to register for an upcoming orientation, please call ( (614) 441-9300) or email (smanecke@capitalcityhospice.com)

We look forward to welcoming you to our team!
