Urgent need for volunteer to complete free training with company to assist hospice patient in Walnut Cove NC with companionship visits. Client does know some english but is embarrased to speak it much. She is fluent in spanish. Her son can translate and we also have a translation service if needed but would be great to find someone who is bilingual and could speak openly with her. This particular opportunity is for companionship and may include giving her a snack from kitchen or a drink of water if needed. Her son may step away for a break at times as well so this would also allow him some respite time. Other opportunities available in area and other areas as well.
