Birthday Balloon Delivery Volunteer - This volunteer role ensures that hospice patients receive a birthday balloon/gift on their birthday. Every birthday counts for a hospice patient, and our birthday balloon delivery volunteer ensures that this day is not only remembered but celebrated.

Key Responsibilities:

• The volunteer will receive an email at the end of each month listing any birthdays for the following month.
• A gift card will be given to the volunteer to purchase balloons at the dollar tree. New gift cards will be given as needed.
• The volunteer will deliver the balloons to the hospice patient on their birthday or as close to their birthday as possible.
• The volunteer will record the birthday delivery and submit to the volunteer coordinator.

Skills and Qualifications

• Caring, friendly and compassionate toward the elderly
• Ability to receive emails and record volunteer times
• Ability to drive to patient's homes
• Ability to keep patient information confidential

Time Commitment

• Hours will vary from 1-2 hours per MONTH depending on birthdays per month
• Days will vary depending on date of birthdays, but times are flexable
