Bring smiles to our residents at Lake Minnetonka Shores!

Resident visitors are wanted to do just that, visit. Bring smiles and laughter to our residents by spending time with them on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

· Visit residents in their rooms or in common areas

· Document your visits with each resident via the Volunteer 1:1forms provided.

· Visit could include activities such as: Reading to resident, playing cribbage or other table games, sharing music, manicures, taking walks inside or outside, outdoor activities (swing, garden, walk down to lake) etc.

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

· Must be 14 years of age or older to visit independently with the residents

· Must be self-directed and self-motivated

· Kind, compassionate and patient disposition

Time Commitment/Hours:

· Weekly commitment desired

· One-time visits can be accommodated depending on the situation
