About Stagebugz Theatre

Location:

9786 S Holland St, Littleton, CO 80127, US

Mission Statement

Stagebugz is a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre company committed to providing fun, safe, and positive performing arts experiences while fostering creativity, compassion, and confidence in young artists through theatre.

Description

Stagebugz Theatre was founded in 2021 by sisters and lifelong members of the Denver theatre community, Aspen and Ashley Somers. They aimed to address the lack of equitable arts education in the community and provide the kind of experiences they longed for in their own theatre education, where every performer has a voice and knows their value. We offer free workshops, pay-what-you-can classes, affordable camps, and public performances to meet every young performer's needs. Stagebugz is more than just a theatre company; we strive to be a place where every child feels safe, supported, and special. At Stagebugz, we believe that theatre can change lives, and we are excited to invoke the power of storytelling in the next generation of artists.
