Mission Statement

At Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation, our mission is to rescue and rehome adoptable cats while implementing effective Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs for feral cats in our community. We're committed to improving the lives of all cats through rescue, medical care, and rehabilitation, helping them find safe, loving homes. Our TNR efforts humanely address the needs of feral cats by providing spay/neuter services, medical care, and returning them to their habitats, preventing overpopulation. Education and outreach are key to our mission, promoting responsible pet ownership and the importance of adoption and TNR. We collaborate with local vets, animal organizations, and community members to maximize our impact. Driven by compassion, we envision a world where every cat, domestic or feral, is cared for, respected, and protected. Join us in creating a compassionate society for all cats.

Description

At Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation, we've been dedicated to saving lives and making a difference for cats in need. Founded with a passion for cat welfare, our mission is to rescue adoptable cats, provide them with the care they deserve, and find them loving homes. In addition, we run effective Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs to help control the feral cat population in our community.

Our goals are simple yet impactful: rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome as many cats as possible, while also reducing the suffering caused by overpopulation. Through our adoption and TNR efforts, we aim to give every cat a second chance at a happy, healthy life.

Over the years, we've celebrated numerous milestones, from rescuing hundreds of cats and kittens to stabilizing feral colonies through TNR. Our programs extend beyond just rescue; they include fostering, community education, and awareness campaigns about responsible pet ownership. We strive to build a future where every cat is treated with compassion and care, and we invite you to be part of that mission!

By volunteering, you’re joining a group of people passionate about saving lives and making an impact. Whether through fostering, assisting with TNR, or helping at events, every contribution helps us achieve our goals and create a better world for cats. Together, we can celebrate more victories and continue our mission to impact cats lives.
