Family Service League is seeking dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented Community Outreach and Education Volunteers to assist us with our Prevention Education and Community Outreach programming. This programming consists of providing educational trainings and workshops to local schools, organizations, colleges and universities, and more about topics such as sexual violence, consent, healthy relationships and boundaries, media literacy, and more. The ideal volunteer will have experience providing educational presentations to large groups, be well-versed in public speaking, willing to learn and be trained in new material and topics, and be passionate about sexual violence prevention. This work also includes tabling at various community outreach events to promote Family Service League/SAVE of Essex County's mission, programs, and services; this typically includes distributing our various materials and discussing our services with participants. This is an unpaid, volunteer position, perfect for anyone looking to volunteer their time with a local non-profit organization.
