Position Summary:

The HR Assistant will provide crucial support to the Deputy Director and other team members in the effective management and execution of HR administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for general administrative duties and HR support

  • Perform general administrative duties including posting open positions, responding to emails, and scheduling interviews

  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions

  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for events, workshops, and training sessions

  • Support in data entry and database management tasks

  • Assist in coordinating communication between internal staff and external stakeholders

  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Deputy Director

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and training and experience appropriate to the particular position.

  • Proven experience as an HR assistant or relevant administrative role

About I’RAISE: I'RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation, founded in the heart of the North Bronx in 2012, began as a mentoring program for at-risk female youth living in New York City Authority Housing. Under the visionary leadership of CEO Shanequa Moore, the organization quickly expanded its reach and impact. Shanequa, a Bronx native who overcame poverty and significant life challenges, was inspired to give back to her community, creating a resilient organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and youth.
