Position overview: We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media/Marketing Intern to join our team! This is an entry-level unpaid internship with our nonprofit organization. You will be responsible for creating and curating content. This is an excellent opportunity for college students to build their resume, and portfolio and earn professional work experience.

Our company mission: Through the power of sports and the lessons learned through them, we aim to create an empowering environment to help kids learn the fundamentals of social responsibility, financial literacy, and how to become the best possible version of themselves. We help youth understand the importance of discipline and drive, as well as help them gain the proper tools, education, resources, emotional support, and access needed for them to reach their full potential and embrace their perfectly imperfect identity.

Incorporating financial literacy, we equip these young minds with essential skills in managing finances, understanding budgeting, saving, and investing, which are crucial for their future.

Hours: This is a remote opportunity

You’ll work 1-3 hours per week at your own pace

Create 2-3 posts, videos, or flyers each week

Attend our monthly virtual meetings and if possible join us for in-person events (not required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for our social media platforms

• Work closely with the team to keep our messaging and branding consistent

• Promote content that supports our mission around youth empowerment, financial literacy, and mental health awareness
