Help us shine a spotlight on the heroes among us! The American Red Cross is looking for a Lifesaving Awards Volunteer to manage regional nominations and ensure that those who have saved lives receive the recognition they deserve.
Responsibilities may include:
Manage and process regional nominations for Lifesaving Awards.
Coordinate award presentations, including logistics.
Ensure awards are printed, framed, and signed.
Arrange the venue and necessary items (e.g., appropriate location, podium, microphone, Red Cross backdrop for photos).
Serve as the main point of contact for the National Lifesaving Awards Program and submit regional presentation photos.
Time Commitment:
Variable, dependent on the number of nominations received (twice per year, on average).
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills.
Experience in event planning and coordination.
