We are seeking volunteers to assist our Education Coordinator with facilitating workshops, camp SCRAP days, and craft planning. We are seeking volunteers that have a passion for Education and creative reuse. Ideal volunteers will have some background/experience working with children and/or assisting with or teaching art and craft related classes.
Volunteers interested in assisting children through our unique brand of reuse art education will be asked to complete a simple background check, and complete an online abuse prevention course.

SCRAP Creative Reuse mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Description
At SCRAP Creative Reuse we take donations of clean, reusable creative supplies and make them available to the community at a low cost. In the Ann Arbor community for 36 years, we have a warehouse full of colorful, exciting art and craft supplies that can be used in all kinds of creative projects. We have an education program for kids and workshops for adults. It is a vibrant place to volunteer! Our wonderful volunteers sort donations, shelf materials, assist in the retail store, assist with our children's programming, help with fundraising/event planning and many other great opportunities for this colorful Ann Arbor nonprofit art supply store.

- We ask that volunteers interested in working in Education commit to us for 1 year.
- We offer 1 day camp SCRAPs throughout the school-year on days when area schools are closed. We also offer camps through Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks. There are opportunities available to help during all of these times.
