Hospice is a special kind of care, designed to support people at the end of their life, as well as to their loved ones, who will be the most impacted when the patient is gone.
Volunteers provide the meaningful extras that can be vital to those who need it. Volunteers, in essence, give their time to be with others, so they don't have to be alone, as they travel on their final months, weeks, hours into the great unknown.
If you are a patient person, who understands the power of presence, please consider volunteering your time to help our patients.
Our Langhorne, PA office is the hub of care brought to those on our service in Bucks and Montgomery Counties... So, we need Volunteers throughout that area, but as a Volunteer, you will only go where you are comfortable traveling to.
Many religious groups preach about the benefits to administering to the sick. Many Hospice Volunteers who do it for a while, often say that they get more out of it than they give.
If you have an inclination towards this way of giving back, please reply to this post.
