Job Summary:

We are seeking a forward-thinking and analytical Strategic Planning Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the business plan, setting long-term goals, and drafting the official group constitution. You will also be instrumental in shaping our business strategy, developing actionable plans, analyzing data, and aligning goals to achieve the organization's objectives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a strategic role and is passionate about driving long-term success in a mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan that aligns with Book Bytes' mission and long-term vision.
• Set and monitor long-term organizational goals, ensuring they are achievable and aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Draft and formalize the official group constitution, outlining the organization's structure, governance, and key policies.
• Analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize business operations.
• Collaborate with department heads to align their goals with the overall business strategy.
• Monitor progress toward goals, identifying areas for improvement and making adjustments as needed.
• Conduct regular strategic reviews and provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in strategic planning, integrating them into the organization’s processes.
• Communicate the business plan and strategy effectively to all stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and alignment across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
• Experience in drafting business plans, constitutions, or similar strategic documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex strategic initiatives.
• Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and a passion for children’s literacy, education, and making a positive impact.
