Job Summary:

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and community-focused Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As the Community Outreach Coordinator at Book Bytes: Tales That Spark, you will develop programs to engage the local community, build relationships with organizations and stakeholders, and promote participation in our events and initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about community engagement and has experience in fostering meaningful connections within communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with our mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, schools, and community stakeholders.
  • Promote participation in events, workshops, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing children’s literacy.
  • Coordinate and manage outreach events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to expand our reach within the community.
  • Gather feedback from the community to continuously improve our programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively communicate our mission and events to the community.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts, making adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in community outreach, program development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and events simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for children’s literacy, education, and making a positive impact.
