CDF is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drone Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drone operation and aerial photography, with a keen eye for capturing the progress of our projects and the ability to navigate complex environments, including job sites and building interiors. This role is critical to documenting our work, providing visual data for analysis, and showcasing the impact of our efforts in real time. Key Responsibilities: * Operate drones to capture high-quality aerial footage and images of job sites, including residential, commercial, institutional, and specialty properties. * Fly drones in and out of buildings as needed to document interior spaces, ensuring detailed coverage of all project aspects. * Collaborate with the project management team to understand specific requirements and capture the necessary shots. * Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and safety protocols while operating drones on-site. * Edit and process aerial footage and images to create compelling visual narratives that align with CDF’s mission. * Maintain and care for drone equipment, ensuring all devices are in optimal working condition. * Provide support during the planning phase of projects by scouting locations and identifying potential challenges or opportunities for aerial documentation. Qualifications: Preferred * Proven experience as a drone photographer, with a portfolio showcasing aerial footage of job sites and building interiors. * Proficiency in operating drones, including navigating complex environments and tight spaces. * Strong understanding of FAA regulations and drone operation safety protocols. * Excellent photography and videography skills, with experience in editing and post-production. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organizational skills. * Flexibility to travel to various job sites as required by project needs. * Experience in construction, real estate, or energy efficiency projects is a plus.
