The Canyon Lakes Ranger District is hosting a National Public Lands volunteer river clean-up event near the Arrowhead Lodge Visitor Center. The clean-up site will be at the Black Hollow area and will focus on trash accumulated during post-fire flooding events. Everyone is welcome to join, but please know volunteers will be working in and around moving water. Gloves, trash bags, and garbage removal tools will be provided. Volunteers should wear work clothes and waders and/or closed toe shoes capable of getting wet. All volunteers are required to sign a volunteer agreement. Volunteers will receive a one-day FEE-FREE day pass to participating public lands!
